Dear WW, I was just now going back through all the posts and somehow, I had missed yours initially and now my comment is soooomuch later than when you asked, but maybe it’s just in time. Calling on the Saints is very powerful in times of need. St. Michael, the Archangel defends us in spiritual battle, St. Jude is the patron of hopeless cases, St. Anthony helps us find lost things. Those are the saints I go to for help. I am sure you can find a book of saints online or info on saints in a Catholic bookstore. I agree that you are looking for what religion has taken from you, that which was your connection to your spiritual self connected to your creator. Your creator who doesn’t create mistakes, but asks us to trust Him during difficult times. Don’t look to tarot cards or religion (both can be dangerous). Go back and cultivate that relationship that you lost. That’s not magic, that’s spiritual connection to God. Ask St. Michael the Archangel to defend you from fakes and for the Lord to deliver you from evil as you go on this journey. Do not believe the liars who say God doesn’t love you. He created you and He knows you and He loves you.
