Would you be willing to accept advice questions about pigeons? It may not help with the issue, but I am really interested in learning how to help with stringfoot pigeons and don't know where to start. either way, wishing you good luck on getting through this blocked time.

Part IV is what demonstrates your ability, insight, wit, and unique style. If you must wrangle thousands of phrases, sounds, and fragments to craft that, it’s worth the angst and effort.

Ooh, this spoke to my soul. Writer's block for me is a mix of a grayed-out catatonic state and a sharp pang of dread at the writing that could be getting done, but isn't. I agree with you about the healing properties of lakes, or just bodies of water in general.

Norah! I'm tormented by this question too! "What do I want any of this to give me, what do I want it to do? It feels like I’ve forgotten how to walk."

Part III is like a Mary Ruefle poem. That's a compliment.

I would say "I love this kind of thing, do more of it," but that might give you more writer's block.
