Someone I love told me that his friends say that he is not gay enough and he doesn't like to do drag as much as he should, blah, blah, blah. I hate this shaming in and by a community that is already having such a difficult time navigating life in this homophobic country. I told him that he is who he is, likes what he likes, wants what he wants and loves who he loves and that is good enough. There is no gay-o-meter.
