Spite is understandable! I've felt it myself recently. At some point, the cliché "living well is the best revenge" popped into my head, and I worked on moving on with my life. Also, karma is real - you just have to let it happen however it's going to happen.
This reminded me of the last episode of “I may destroy you” where the main character is longing for justice and revenge, which may or may not come and she has to come to that realization. Anger is such a consuming feeling that it just isn’t sustainable.
